Help me decipher these testing figures on NOS tubes?

Hi

Just wondering what the figures for tests on tubes represent, and what are good figures?

Below I have two examples of testing figures for matched pair tubes. Which are the better performing tubes, and why?

1. Tested : 13.5/11.8-12.4/11.2 7LC delta 0C1

13.1/11.4-12.5/11.4 7LG delta OC1

2. Tested : 9.8/9.8-9.5/9.5 7xx delta9A2

Signal path - tubes and transformers - where?

I have a lovely Pendulum to cover my tube pre needs. I don't have a tube mic, however. The cheap ones I've auditioned have a bit of gauze over the picture, but I assume good ones can sound spectacular and clear. Here's question 1. All things being equal which I know they are not, will a nice tube pre obviate a tube mic.

different sounding tubes

Hi
I bought an Oktava MKL5000 and it was complete crap so the seller replaced it. The new one was ok, but the noise performance was not as good as I had hoped, so I decided to mess around with different valves. What really surprised me was how different each valve sounded.

I tried Mullard EF95s, and while they were too noisey, the sound was very rich and full.
