Universal Audio 2-610 vs. Manley Dual Mono Mic Pre
Hey all,
I don't have the ability to try these two out, but I'm looking for a pair of great tube mic preamps, and was hoping someone on here could tell me the sonic differences?
So I can decide which one to purchase.
Universal Audio 2-610 paired with Daking Pres
Right now my only preamps I have are 8 Daking pre's.
Should I get another Daking Mic Pre IV or a Universal Audio 2-610, or is there something better?
Focusrite ISA 828 or Focusrite Octpre Mk2/Universal Audio 2-610
I know this post will reflect personal preference (if anyone replies), and i will use mine when i go to the store and listen to my reference disc.
Universal Audio 2-610 into dbx 386...
I've been saving up to buy the Universal Audio 2-610 to use in my studio, because of the amazing sounds I've heard come out of it. I noticed that it only has balanced XLR outs, which is good, but a little bit of a problem in my case. I need to get the Universal Audio 2-610 from the 2-610 to my computer.

Universal Audio 2-610
Does anyone have experience with the Universal 2-610? I am looking for a stereo pre to use primarily with two AKG 414 XLS's. These mics are great, but sometimes a little bright. I am looking for another pre that is a little warmer than those iown currently.

Great River MP-2NV or Universal audio 2-610
ok Guys, the budget is now available and I need to decide which preamps am I going to buy. Thanks to Kurt and some other useful members Ive practically narrowed it down to two pre amps, the Great River MP-2NV and the Universal Audio 2-610 tube preamps. My main clients are Rock, alternative, metal and hard core bands, lots of distortion, heavy drums, screaming vocals, the works!
