I realize this could go in the VST but people never check anything there so I was wondering if anyone had a rec on a Glockenspiel VST, I'll buy it if I have to, I need a good tinkly tone for a track I'm working on.

I've posted this question elsewhere and gotten no answers, though I think it must be pretty basic. I'd just google it, but the search terms never come up with the things I am trying to learn.

I'm using Cubase SX 3, and when I open my VST instruments panel, for example, I'll have Tone2 Firebird open, and RCGAudio's Z3TA open, and I'll have a certain synth selected which I'll be using for a midi track. When ever I stop the track from playing back, and playback from the beginning, the VSTi automatically resets the preset it was using to the default preset.

I haven't posted in a while, but I finally got a studio built.. I must say I'm proud of myself.. it's small but it's just for me :D

anyways, I'm running Tracktion 2, and a Mackie Onyx Satellite. It's firewire based, nice warm preamps.. two XLR phantom powered XLRs, but no MIDI.

Hey, i write music consisting of Epic orchestrations, Celtic (Being Scottish) folk melodies, Technical Melodic Metal at high tempos... However, i like adding accordions into my music for background vamping and such as a method of building unqiue and interesting texture to my tracks.

This sounds not bad, usable even... It's fun to play too.

Hi there, my system consists of a PreSonus Firebox, 3.2 GHZ, 1 GIG RAM, 40 and 200 gig hard drives. I was wondering if I can realistically use VSTi's on my system and get good results. I am using Cubase LE right now and I achieve pretty low latency when recording audio.

Do any of you have experience with Garritan Personal Orchestra or MOTU Symphonic Instrument? I was just about set to go with Garritan when MOTU's product came out. MOTU's product seems to have a larger sample library, but it isn't listed under their products on the MOTU website, which makes me nervous about support (Garritan is supposed to have extraordinary support).

Any thoughts?
