Overclocking?
Hi all! Though this thread seems more suited to some obscure OC's net club, I was just curious to see if any of you would OC your machines on a regular basis, i.e., if you regularly use your cpu and mobo and etc. over its "natural" speed.

I would like to record sounds from a hardware synth but it has to be triggered from the DAW sequencer.
Do I have to turn off the MIDI clock inside the hardware synth to get more accurate timing?

word clock vs. ADAT connection help?
Hello,
I want to get the best out of all my mic preamp's I have and I am not sure whether to hook everything up via ADAT or wordclock.
My current set up is I have a Rme hammerfall 9652 soundcard with a PreSonus digimax lt, ART gold dmpa pre, jlm ba2 mic preamp and a Behringer ada8000. I use Cubase sx3.
