Mbox 1 Clock Question
Ok here goes I'm wanting to use a better clock source for Mbox and of course the only way to reclock an Mbox is through SPDIF. So, is it possible to send straight word clock into the SPDIF jacks through a BNC to RCA adapter. My only other choices are to send it off for modifying or buy a master clock with money I don't want to spend.

Best Clock Source
Given a choice of the following sources for a word clock source, which is best?
- RME Hammerfall PCI Sound Card
- Focusrite ISA 428 Optional A/D card
- Frontier Designs Tango24
Right now I'm using the RME card as my clock source, then distributed to the other devices using a Lucid distribution box.
Thanks.

Getting Equipment to talk with one another i.e. Word Clock
Can anyone give me the name of someone I can contact and hopefully speak with that can give me advice regarding Wordclock connections and or work arounds in my recording system?
MIDI Clock
I have Pro Tools 7 and the digi 002 with a Mac G4. I also have Cubase SL on a second G4 with its own MIDI (MidiSport 2x2).
I need to sync these two systems via MIDI clock (or another sync system that works). I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out what to do.
Do I need to get another software or hardware MIDI clock? Can I have Pro Tools be the clock?
