New WAVES Masters plugins
I'm starting to see adds for a new WAVES bundle which includes the new "Linear Phase" Equalizer and "Linear Phase" Multiband Comp as well as the L2 Ultramaximizer. I've been thinking for a while about upgrading to the L2 anyway from my L1+, as well as aiming to get the Sony Oxford EQ.

Tiny triangle waves?
Maybe Greg can help me here:
I was asked by a colleague to help him xfer an older existing Pro Tools session into his Radar system, so he could mix it for a client (he doesn't own Pro Tools).
The session was only 14 tracks (jazz), so we connected the AES/ebu outputs of two 888's to go digitally directly into the radar. Everything was clocked with my Lucid Genx6.

Be careful buying from WAVES
I bought the new Masters TDM HD bundle with my Pro Tools HD system and it's useless at sample rates above 48k! NO TDM Support. RTAS works for sh*t on a g4/533. It is useless.
It does sound good at 44.1k but it's useless otherwise.

Waves L2 Ultramaximizer
I've posted this on the Digidesign forum and got back some surprising responses. There were a lot of people that not only thought it was a great mastering tool, but also the best front end to Pro Tools. A/D was co-developed with Hutch from Manley Labs. Has anyone A/B'd them to the RME, Lucid or Apogee lineup? Also, has anyone A/B'd it to the L2 plugin . I love that plugin by the way.

WAVES VST Plugins?
Has anyone had a chance to try out the new WAVES pluginsfor VST? (version 3.2.1 - it is a public beta that the Tech Support guy I talked to said was "extremely stable")
Is this one of those things that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
What benefit will a VST plugin give me over a Direct-X plugin with Cubase?
