Waves Tune vs. . AutoTune vs. . Melodyne
Looking for people's opinions in this area. I have searched and carefully read an older thread here comparing Melodyne to Autotune, but troughout my searching have found little information about Waves Tune.
I have a Digi 002, Pro Tools LE, Waves Gold plugins. I mainly record rock, but do other projects too.

Waves Restoration and forensic cleanup
Anyone using Waves Restoration for forensic work? I really dig it for light cleanup in mastering, but sometimes I feel like I'm chasing my tail when it comes to heavy cleanup of background noise on audio evidence tapes, etc. Sometimes it's almost to the point that I feel like I'm making it worse.

Waves. I am an idiot
Just bought Wavesmusician's bundle 2 fro $200. Sick of not having REQ & Ren Compressor on my newer Mac, Logic Pro, Tiger system. I double checked the email i got from their technical support ages ago, typos and bad grammar. About 5.0 vs 5.2 versions of these plugins. I am tired and ill. So i buy. And they dont pass Logic's AuVal. I can't ude 'em.

Too loud? My experiments with Limiters = square waves...
Here is a simple track I've been using to get familiar with my Limiter. Do you all think it's too loud? My average RMS is between -11 and -10 dB. To my unexperienced ears, I haven't lost too much of the dynamics, but tell me if this is fatiguing to you.
Here is a screen-shot of one of my bass drum hits (I think it is, at least...)

Using Waves plugins for mastering
Hi, I am new here and am looking for some advice on using Waves plugins for mastering. I just got the Platinum bundle and am a slight novice. Any tutorial help would be great as well. I use Sonar 4.0 PE for seq. wavelab 5.0 for editing plus a boatload of other plugins. Thanks for any help and taking a moment to read this post.
Peace,
Bernie T.

Using Waves L2 to Dither in Sound Forge
Hope this is the right forum...
I am trying to use my Waves L2 plug to dither in Sound Forge. After I render the file, it still shows as a 24 bit wave. If I dither thru Sound Forge, it will then show 16 bit. Will Sound Forge allow you to use a plugin for dithering instead of theirs?
Thanks
