Using any version of Cubase SX and Waves Qn (also some other plugs) on a track, it kills Cubase - it stops playing, and a strange sound is heard. Also, the output meter shows 600dB something. Have any of you had this problem?

Has anyone heard this guitar tool rig by waves? It is nothing short of astounding! I saw a video by googling Wavesgtr. This guitar player from the spin doctors demonstated it. There truly is nothing at all like it out there. I would be willing to bet it is a real processor killer, but they do make a Wavesaccelorator that should handle it. $900 for HD and $450 for LE.

I have been fooling around with a few. I was just wondering what everyone else thought? or is there another comp plug that you would recomend.

I am stuck on which one to buy... I would like to hear some personal opinions on these three. Which would be best for mastering?

Hey all ... I am TOTALLLLLLY newww! Yes.. I'm newer than you can imagine ... so my uncle gave me a Waves Diamond Bundle v5.2 pack...its full of plugins that sound pretty..errr..professional...i've never mastered anything as such before cuz i never had anythign to master with...but since now i do have this thing. so i figured why not learn abt it or teach myself how to do this stuff...

I read a lot of blogs about the L3 MULTImaximer being multiband and not as clean as the L2. What about the L3 ULTRAmaximizer? Is that cleaner? As good as the L2?

I'm looking for some professional advice on which of these two plugins comes out with the best results. I've done the 30 day demo of the L3 multimaximizer and I was very impressed. There's no demo for the TC X3 as it is powercore only but I've already heard good things about it..
