Don't ever buy wireless headphones for music composing
Don't ever buy wireless headphones for music composing.
I wanted to cut the cord and get some headphones that didn't hurt my ears after 15 minutes or so. Also thought it would be nice to jam on some bass to songs without the corded headphones. So I bought these PowerBeats3 wireless headphones. Bad mistake! One word: Latency!
Recording grand piano live with wirless mics in Carnegie hall
Currently I am using an MXL v63m mic to record piano concerts which requires phantom power and then different connectors to my canon HF20 camera. Not much experience on micing and this is for my wife who is a classical pianist that will perform in Carnegie hall in Oct.
Wireless mic static
I have a Sennheiser transmitter-receiver ew100 G3.
It's going into a Canon XA20 pro camcorder, into the Input on the Handle, which is set to Mic/Manual/flat (center). It's always worked fine for me until lately.

Wireless Headphones
Hi Folks,
Can anyone recommend a half decent set of wireless headphones. It doesn't have to be anything amazing for recording as it's mainly for watching TV while my girlfriend is studying! Not bought headphones in ages and there's so much choice, I could do to narrow it down a bit. Budget around £30.
Cheers!

Mobile application to turn smartphone into wireless microphone
Hello everyone
I am lookin for an app (iOS or Android) that turns any smartphone into a wireless microphone for any kind of event. For example I can talk in my phone and sound is broadcasted in real time to the speakers. I don’t want to buy dozens of mics.
Thank you in advance for your help
Wireless Mic System
Two hand-held wireless microphones will be used to make announcements during a Christmas show in a very large shopping mall (think thousands of cell phones).
Please recommend a super high quality, interference-mitigating wireless Mic system that will be patched into the mall audio system.
The required operating range is 50 meters. (150 feet)

Why do you need to remove your cell from your pocket while mic'ed with wireless pack?
Currently on a corporate show. I ask my clients to take their cells out of their pockets and one guy says "You know, cell phones operate in a higher band than these microphones currently do. It might just be safe to leave them in your pocket with these on". I disagreed with him and still insisted he take it out or shut it off and he said he trusted me. Then I thought, he's right?
Combined wireless instrument transmitter/IEM receiver?
I've started looking into wireless instrument transmitters and IEMs which got me to wondering...
Does someone make a combined instrument/IEM system with a single pack that has both the instrument transmitter and the IEM receiver? Seems to me that would be super convenient.
