Substitute for Auratone / NS-10's
I'm about to complement my full-range monitoring with a pair of "groth-boxes", something to perform the function of Auratones and NS-10's. I'm not getting Auratones because I simply can't find a pair of them and NS-10's are getting waaay overpriced. So I need something to fine tune my mixes in, something that has the midrange-action of the Auratones.

Can anyone recommend a subwoofer for use w/ NS-10's?
Greets all,
I'm considering picking up a pair of NS-10 monitors and would like to extend their low freq range with a subwoofer.
Any recommendations?
Thanks much,

Buying Yamaha NS10s
I am thinking of buying some Yamaha NS10s but after a quick look can not find any for sale, in England, on the net. Does anyone know where I could find any for sale in England and how much they now cost on average

How much more $$$ will ns10's be worth?
Hi all, just wondering...I saw a pair of mint ns10's go for 1100 dollars on ebay yesterday. I've been thinking lately that if I could get anything close to that, I'd let them go in a second 8-). Is that really what they're going for on a regular basis?

Grot box to replace the NS10M?
Any suggestions? The NS10 was, to me, a horribe sounding speaker that did an excellant job for mid range mixing. But they dont make em any more. Has anyone got any suggestion as a replacement. So far I have heard of the new Yamaha MSP5 and the Triple P Pyramid. Any others worth mentioning?
Cheers!

Crown Amplifier for NS-10's
Hey ya'll
I'm in the market for an amplifier that will be used with NS-10M as the primary speakers.
In my experience, a Crown amp of 1000 watts minimum sounds as good as anything for these particular speakers.

Yamaha NS344...rare but good?
Hi. I had an offer about the Yamaha NS344, they have the same aspect than the NS10M but larger, 3 speaker and a volume for the middles and the highs.
I don't know if buying theese or the ns10 (here in Argentina are: NS344 at US$250 and the NS10 at US$550, so...)
Thanks everyone and excuse me for my english

NS-10's - Vertical vs. . Horizontal?
I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a difference between the NS-10's that are "designed to be" vertically oriented versus the ones that are horizontally oriented? (you can tell by looking at the "Yamaha" label and the woofers)
I remember seeing a post about this somewhere but I can't seem to find it now that I need it!
Thanks!
Ryan

History of the NS10?
This more likely than not has been talked about here, in the past. My question is what was the model number of the first origional Yamaha NS10? Is it the NS10M or is there an even earlier more origional monitor named "NS10" without the "M"? Is there a difference between the two?
