I always will go for the filterbank before the waves stuff. the waves EQs have nice shelving and do sound good for reduction. But The filterbank is more even in my opinion

I do like E6/P6. At E6 I dunno why we can not go with higher Q´s and HPFs/LPFS. So Waves Q series is still handy. But Waves Q4...Q10 are very sensitive to phase shift. Apply one or two HPFs to hot input signals and you ill see the nsty distortion it outputs -lol
Ok, every eq does have overshooting, but never saw something so wild like with the Waves,
