American Wiring

Hi,
Im converting an american preamp to our flavour of electricity here in europe. I've removed the American plug top and I've got 3 coloured wires, black,green & white. AFAIK its:
Green= Earth
Black=Neutral
White= Live
Can anybody confirm this? :?

Yeah I switched over a voltage jumper inside the box and changed the fuse also.
