Bought MXL V63 ... sounds horrible..help

I brought the Mxl v63, i plugged it into my mixing to my laptop where i record in Bias Deck. The sound "Noise" is overbearing and when i sing the sound, sounds far away and horrible. help.. thanks -caleb

the problem was, channel 2 is bad, so it works awesome, sounds soo good. thanks for your help- caleb ...it was a learning experience..

Don't you know you NEVER EVER use channel 2 on a mixer??? (joke)
