Hello there,

I'm seriously looking into getting the vmp-2000. I currently live in Ireland. But could be moving to the US in 2 years time and I'm wondering how difficult it is to change the transformer?

Whats the best and cheapest way to order one for me here in Ireland :)

You don't have to change the Transformer !
There is a voltage selector located on the back for easy voltage conversion from 110/120 VAC and 220/240 VAC.

Would I have to replace any circuit fuses or Mains fuses?

NO, ...because 1 amp at 230vac is equal to 2 amps at 115 vac ….. or thereabouts ……

I assume all the sebatron pre's have the voltage selection on them?

YES, ...for the last year all our products have featured switchable mains voltages via a switch located on the back….
