Open the windows volume control

select options > properties

make sure your soundcard mixer is displayed in Mixer Device

select to adjust volume for recording

check 'stereo mix' in 'show the following volume controls'

click ok

check the box under Stereo Mix and set the recording volume

should be right to go!

(don't forget to set the 'adjust volume for' back to playback when you're done)

Thanks, it works, but mine is called "wave out mix" not "stereo mix".
