It looks like this has 2 processors and that makes it 4 times faster than the newest Powerbook 1.67! Did I make a mistake in buying a Powerbook 1.67 recently?

I'm seriously considering to buy it, but i'm concerned that it would be too slow... I'm going to use Logic Express and maybe på Logic Pro later on...
I'm going to get 2 Gb og ram...

My experience with the Powerbook has been great in general. The OS is cool and everything works smoothly. You don't need to do any manipulations like you have to do on a PC sometimes (with registry clean up and all). I use Presonus Firebox with it and love it!!! It's just amazingly smooth to work with. Nothing I have owned in the past works as smoothly. (I have owned Delta 1010, Audiophile 24/96 and 24/192, EMU 1820m).
I will tell you this though. I don't think the Powerbook is fast enough to run a couple of vst plug-ins and some effects and audio tracks at the same time. I was running EWQLSO gold with 8 instruments in Logic and I had Reason rewired and I was just using the Reason Drum Kits 2 and had loaded one producer drum kit and it was reaching the max both for CPU and RAM (1.5Gig). You may have to freeze some tracks if you have to run more plug-ins. For just audio tracks, I think it's super fast.
I would definately suggest you wait and see the reviews of the Macbook Pro and get that instead. I'm pretty sure it's going to be at least 2 times faster. (I read a review of it on Macworld.com)
no..... the software is not ready (not running optimized)......
