I recently purchased a new home with the decision being based upon a good sized tracking room, and an adequate control room being available. I have a 25x17 Tracking room and a 10x12 control room that will work out perfectly for my needs. However, when going to run cable, my normal method being the use of an attic, I have discovered that based on the design/construction of the home, I will not be able to easily accomplish this task.
My questions is to anyone who has had to run audio cable in their home (I have a 12x4 snake) what ingenius ways you have come up with that do not include the attic.
Any thoughts and/or suggestions?
You can always run them through the walls. Just make sure you do
You can always run them through the walls. Just make sure you don't run them parallel to electrical wiring or you could end up with hum and interference. Also make sure you get everything completely sealed off again or your sound will bleed from room to room.
