Please keep this bumped so that I might get a lot of suggestions.

Just bought some new gear for the studio and am looking for some expert advice on when, where and how to use it.

I run a 24 channel Allen & Heath board to MOTU 2408 MKII to Nuendo2

Have 2 Nueman TLM 103s
2 Sennheiser MD421s
4 SM57s
4 SM58s
2 BLUE Dragonflys
1 R0DE Classic II
1 Beta52
1 AKG D112

Bought a Universal Audio 6176 channel strip (mono pre, eq + comp)
Also a PreSonus ACP 88 (8 channel pre, gate, comp)
And a FMR Really Nice Compressor.

I wonder how I can get the most use out of everything. I mainly track rock projects. I have a really live drum room, and a very quiet iso room.

I have had very good success using the UA6176 with the RODE Classic II on Vox. Other than that and acoustic instruments, I really am at a loss to see where I would use the UA as it is only mono. It does have the feature of running preamp and compressor separately which is pretty cool, but where?

I am also looking for all suggestions of how I can configure things for tracking drums.

I have a huge inventory of plugins, but I thought I might clean up things before hitting the software.
