Any help would be great.
I have a EMU0404. I have Cool Edit Pro ver 2 installed. I can play sounds through the Cool Edit and via the computer. However, I can not record using the above. Cool edit does not Hear my inputs. (MIc, Playback, CD etc..)
I use Cool Edit at another studio and have no problems with it. This is a new install and..WOW!
I noticed that in the computer "playback-Monitor out" the only options in Recording" is "Wave". I do have an on board sound card intel(r) integrated audio card. When I look at its recording options there is 8 options. I have disabled it and I have gone through Cool Edit and selected the EMU0404 as the first option in device options and settings under "Options".
