Right now there is a big hole in the mids. The guitar should be in that space which gets uninteresting fast. It might be okay if there was something else as the lead (main focus) that was full and forward sounding in this track, and the guitar was meant as background flavour .
I suspect we might have a different opinion if there was a big vocal in there (instead of that snare) taking up the mid freq which is where the money is imho of a mix. I share my colleagues opinions. The snare is dominating this track and screaming for a vocal to bury it.

I have a fair amount of bottom end going on, with parallel compression on the drums (addictive Drums) and this is probably the first track I've doubled the bass with an Amplitube Ampeg VST and a DI with renaissance compressor on both. Was my impression that the low end was too much and yes they are overtaking the guitars. Remixing. More suggestions welcome. And thanks so far.

There seems to be some rumble going on in the lows. It may be that your mix space is not revealing those frequencies clearly. That snare needs to come down, maybe add some reverb.
