I don't know of any DAW that displays Tablature.

Dont know about a a plug in but guitar pro is a stand alone application which you can enter all of your musical data onto through MIDI and it will store and play it back to you. It also does the same for many various insturments, im using guitar pro 6 at the moment and would definatly recomend. Very good for organising your music neatly, hope this helps.

Guitar Pro 6 is definitely a good tool for guitar players who would like the capability to turn their ideas into tablature AND hear those ideas play in real-time. I just wish I could change out the soundbanks with something like Ripper - Direct from LyricalDistortion.com and maybe the drums from a plug-in like EZDrummer from Toontrack.com. Don't get me wrong...the soundbanks have significantly improved over Guitar Pro 5, but with the quality sounds that are currently out nowdays, I can't help but to want better sounds from GP6. It would be nice if the folks responsible for GP6 did, in fact, make a DAW plug-in version. THAT would be awesome.
