First off, is there a difference?
And second, I am looking at the PreSonus Firebox, and would like some advice on how to properly use it.

Not quite. You need a digidesign interface to use ProTools LE. An M-Audio interface lets you use ProTools M-Powered.
That's what I meant. I was just too lazy to type it out on the iPhone. Freakin' little virtual keyboards drive me nuts.
