I need to buy a DAW to record e-guitar or acoustic guitar + voice directly into my PC, having to minimum latency possible to use live effects driven by software.
So which one is better? Mackie OS + Tracktion or M-Audio FW 410 + PT LE?

Whichever one better suits your needs: the 410 has more inputs and outputs plus midi, while the Satellite has better preamps, some nice monitor controller facilities, and that funky docking design.
Personally I think Tracktion is way better then PTLE, but if you are used to PT you may disagree.
I own a Satellite myself: it works well and sounds great
