That tape and vintage compressor and limiter is really something. Finally had the chance to take a crack with the software.

I like that they can have a very subtle effects on the sound. I need to well train myself with them before using them on an album ;)

Personally, I like the sound it gives even for just a plug-in. If iZotope would have just placed a descriptor for the source basis of its vintage circuit I would have saved time to know where to use it. :LOL::LOL:

I'm not sure but I think they didn't source their plugins on actual physical units but more on a sum of interesting caracteristics of many designs. (just a impression I have)

IMO, the most effective processing is always subtle. I don't want a processor to turn my apple into an orange. If I wanted that, I'd have chosen an orange in the first place.
