I'm looking for an audio interface that will give me a great sound for less then $750. I'm using a Mac, so I'm looking at the Apogee products but $1395 for a 4x8 interface, that's a bit steep. Can you help me on this one? Thanks! :biggrin:

the apogee duet 2 is around 600 bucks, its 2x4. i've heard good
the apogee duet 2 is around 600 bucks, its 2x4. i've heard good things about the audio quality. if you need more channels, MOTU is a good place too look. they are a step up from things like m-audio, focusrite, presonus, ect, for a bit more you could get a used apogee ensemble. either company makes professional level products.

You can also consider getting the RME Babyface.
We all know how great the RME drivers are.
I have the RME FireWire 800 for my studio and a babyface for my laptop, pretty solid drivers and sound.
