OK, does it look like Peavey gear from the 70s-80s? Hartley Peavey used to brand his products that he shipped overseas with different names like that, especially in the South Pacific and South America...
Also, there was an American company called Electronic Music Technology
Corp. (EMTC) that made PA gear in the 70s-80s in the Chicago area. They made mixing boards, amps, speakers, etc., but were overpriced and went out of business...Why do you ask ?
Googling that spelling rendered some companies, but not a sound
Googling that spelling rendered some companies, but not a sound gear mfr. Do you mean "Altec"? They used to make all sorts of pro audio gear
several years ago, and are now mainly speakers for background systems and cars...
If you did mean Altec, their consoles were used in many installed sound systems around the world, their EQ's were made by White (VERY good), and their older tube gear is highly prized. They were also called Altec-Lansing for a while. I own one of their vintage ribbon mics, and it is still sweet...
