Can digital files (.wav or mp3) be added to a DAW environment at anything faster than real time? My boss wants me to accomplish the impossible, but before I tell him he's nuts, I want to be armed with the facts. Thank You!
Not sure if I understand this correctly...
Are you asking if you transfer from a DAT Machine or some form of digital input..can it go faster than the playback? If so...no.
If it's on a CD yes, simply transfer it from CD to the computer hard drive or via the application import it in from the CD.
