I have a question, I've taken you guys advice on gettin clear vocals in Nuendo and I think I have gotten them how I want them. THX, my new ? is In the Nuendo mixer while tracking vocals. I want to be able to have the sliders move up and down automatically during the song to level the vocals and keep them all in green. How do I do this? Do I have to do it step by step to get it just perfect? If I can get this to work then my vocals will be leveled perfectly throughout my songs. I heard something about automation and using the mixers read and write buttons to allow this. PLZ HELP! thx

Ok..to clarify something here first..the levels on the mixer do not affect incoming signal..record the signal and then do automation after it's been recorded..to do this turn on the W button(write button) press play and move faders to your liking..when done unpress W button and press the R button(read button) voilla...you now have automation..nned to quickly fix a certain spot..keep the R button pressed and press the W button as well...when that certain time comes move the faders..it will write over what was allready recorded for automation. unpress W button..R button should still be lit..voilla,...done again. I think you need to start reading some of the manual there bub..all of this is covered in that! I know it sucks to read but hey...it helps when you need answeres quicker!!
