Hi,

I am mixing songs and facing problem with the software. I want a software specially for mixdown only (no samplers, no synth, no sh*t). As long as I can arrnage my tracks properly and with good FX Window, it will do for me. I found the famous software like Cubase sx and cakewalk are bulky.

I have used Adobe Audition 1.5 and it looks great. But the problem is it does not have good FX Window and there is no dB meter beside each track and even no at FX Window tracks. So I can't see what amount of dB my tracks are reaching at.

Cadn anybody help me out by pointing a software specializing in only pure mixdown section?

Your reply will be really appreciated.

I'll say it again...one person says this is better, the other says that is better....

Only you can truly decide which software works best for you...

Remember that the software may have all the features that you may not need but doesn't mean you "have" to use them...

All software packages are fine for mixing..as long as you know what you are doing you can do it.

Opus :D

Ntrack? I seem to remember it being pretty straight-forward.
You don't have to use samplers or synths or sh*t if you don't want. On any of the software. Those features usually stay out of the way unless you need them.

Edit: I was just at Ntrack's site and that program is looking better than ever. Nice metering, nice views, nice features. Mayhaps I should try switching over to it if I get tired of Cubase......
