Hey there,
I recently bought a new Dell computer (Specs are in signature below) and was wondering if I should get a new firewire card. I have read so much about needing a TI chipset. I have been experiencing some pops and clicks and was wondering if that is due to my firewire. Mine is a VIA 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller. It is built into the Dell and not its own PCI. I am using a digi 002 with windows 7 64 Bit. I run Cubase in 32 bit. I am trying to get rid of these pops and clicks and it seems like investing in a new firewire chipset is the next step. Please advise
Thanks,
-Bryan

Laptop or desktop?
I prefer SiiG brand cards. You still need to check the specs to make sure its TI. Something I forgot in the last post was to tell you to make sure the buffers are set to 1024 or so.
