Looking to get some compression - mainly for live work, although something that could be used when tracking would be nice. Had my eyes on the PreSonus ACP88, but not sure I need 8 channels and I've heard mixed reports about its sound.

The ART TCS looks like it might be a nice option, looks versatile and the one review I was able to find speaks well of it. A little more expensive per channel, but I can ease into a bank of 6 or 8 a little at a time - or maybe mix it up a little.

Any firsthand experience out there?
