I've got this sick discusting ass hum coming from my computer. I hear it in my headphones. I hear it when trying to sample sounds from my computer...and most importantly and most aggravating...i hear it in my damn recordings. My mic picks it up..i pick it up! I don't want Def Jam or J Records to hear that sh*t. I'll probably need to carry by arse on to a real studio but help me out anyway. What the hell is that noise?

If you are hearing system noise in your headphones I am wondering how you have your power configured? Is all the equipment plugged into one outlet? You may want to spread it out so that the audio is on one plug and the computer is on another. Also get yourself a Furman or other brand name Power Conditioner for your audio equipment and a surge protector for your computer equipment. Also do your recordings away from your computer so that the mic doesnt pic it up..or get your self some way of baffling the vocal mic area so that sound doesnt get to it!!

I feel for ya man, but we ain't psychics here. You gotta at least meet us halfway. On the surface, this seems like a ground related problem, but hard to say for sure unless we know exacty what is in your setup.
