There is a PCI -sound manager driver that should be on your install cd, or download from MOTU. I believe that this actually allows you to monitor Sound Manager audio via your MOTU hardware...so this might not be what your looking for.
Try seting up the MOTU hardware itself to play via Sound Manager in the Basics ---Hardware Setup menu in AudioDesk. I'm not sure, but it may give an option for playback via SoundManager. You might be better of sonically to monitor off the headphone output of the 828 with a decent pair of cans though. Hope this helps.

We can land a man on the Moon but is it possible to monitor my playback through the speakers on my iMac? I'm using a Motu 828 with AudioDesk on an iMac 600. Guaranteed good karma will come your way if you help me out here.
Ideally I know I should get a pair of active monitors- just not prepared to lay down that much cash just yet.
