Pro Tools requires Digi hardware (or the Mpowered as the case may be). No way to use a fireface with it.

Why bother with Pro Tools, though, if you want that interface? There are plenty of other good programs out there. If you like Cubase, use that, or Nuendo, or Samplitude/Sequoia, or..... Many would say you'd get better results with those programs anyways.

If you want to use Pro Tools, use it and buy a set of converters to help your sound.

you could connect something like tha adi-8 (cheap on ebay) to a digi002 via adat optical
