Unfortunately, I'm in a situation where reducing the sound leakage is more important than the sonics of the room... though I'm not about to buy an ISO booth and deaden everything. The louder recording needs are for electric guitar and vocals, though I'm using low wattage amps that are often pushed a bit for break up. Will also record acoustic. No drums, no bass.

I'm not positive where I can do this yet, but it will either be:

- 10 x 12 space (new room will be built in basement)
- Existing 10 x 12 room in house that needs soundproofing
- Build an 8 x 10 room within a larger room

Budget is around $5- 6K. Any suggestions or prior threads you can point me to would be most appreciated.
