I had a session today, and for some strange reason I'm getting a distorted
sound, when I would record vocals, and it gets to a loud part, even though I put the M-box set on "Line". I'm not seeing any distortion on the meters, but
hearing it. I know I'm not 100% when it comes to using the Avalon, but it did come with a manual that shows you a basic setting for vocals. So I'm not sure what is making the vocals sound distorted. any ideas?

Without knowing the type of mic and what makes up the rest of the chain, it's not easy to give an answer other than the obvious one of try turning the gain down on the pre-amp.
