I work with Cubase. What would be a good natural sounding VST drum set? Preferably with a nice set of MIDI grooves included and some percussion next to basic sounds. It needs to be affordable. I am just an amateur musician. My budget is around $ 200.

Could Groove Agent 2.0 be the one?

Thanks. If I'd want to edit parts afterwards, would that be possible?

I like to know if Groove Agent is what I think it is. If it is a bunch of good samples of acoustic drums and some extra's with a ton of groove styles plus a controller that let's me make a few breaks here and there myself then that is exactly what I am looking for.

God, it sucks to be a noob  I downloaded a demo version of GA. Hopefully this will help with the decision. Still if anyone can recommend alternatives, please do so.

Though there are no preset grooves, Drum Kit From Hell superior is absolutley the sh!t.

It's a bit more expensive then what you're looking to pay, but I'd seriously reccomend it. Hands down one of the best drum sample libraries out there. Upgrade to the Custom Vintage addon pack you're options are almost endless.

The percussionist that comes packed with Superior is also a great achievement. I was impressed with how real the hand drums sound. You can close your eyes and picture someone in the other room actually playing the drums. Very real.
