I have checked out the DMCLs recently. They are not bad. Does anyone know whether the send/returns are balanced or not?
I am thinking of buying that thing but still hesitate. The compressor is neither very good nor very bad, IMHO. Do you think it would be a good decision getting it and adding a decent eq into the path (any options?)?
Or would you recommend me a different setup? I need two decent channels, meaning micpre/d.i./line, good compressor, good limiter, good eq, for around $2500 maximum! Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Hi Ernest! Regarding your second post... I'm new here so take it for what it's worth. I got a single channel Seb. about 6 months ago, and I can't speak highly enough of the sound and build quality! It is a wonderful pre, and an out right bargin! I won't bother you with crappy adjectives so....it is probably best described by Mr.Kurt Foster who equated it to an old Fender tweed Deluxe.
I'll put up some recordings in the audio projects forum when time permits. Do a post search on the Sebs...it will give you some really good info.- Rob

I thought of getting a VMP 2000 but I do not really know how it sounds or how it compares to the usual suspects. Can anyone tell or does anyone have a sound file?
