I've searched up and down this site, I've Googled, I've hit Youtube. So far the only vocal sample I could find was a female vocalist using a FatHead II, which was posted on this site.
Anybody have any source of samples/demo tracks/etc with these mics?
This is going to be for a spoken word project emulating old-time radio and I'm trying to size up some low-cost options. The mic may find secondary work with a female vocalist, depending on how it goes, but that's really a secondary concern. Solo vocal tracks or spoken word would be ideal.
Opinionswould be great. Any links to audio files would be great as well.

Thanks! I did see those, but skipped over them at the time because I was still trying to find samples with the so-called "long ribbon short-path" mics... I'm thinking those might be an even better match for my project, but have had no luck finding samples.
One thing that test convinced me of though, is there's no way I'll be using the SM58 for this... there's too much going on with that mic. At first I was thinking about doing it quick and dirty.. SM58's and mess with the EQ to make it sound "old-timey". But now, I can clearly hear that that's just not going to satisfy me. I envision bad results if I go down that road.
And that Bluebird test was interesting. It reminded me of why it was that, about 5 years ago when I was selling off my recording gear for the second time, that the Bluebird was the first mic I sold off... (it's not a bad mic, just kinda uninteresting). I kept the Oktava around a lot longer. Ahhh memories...
The Fathead is the most "right" out of the bunch, but I'm still looking for samples of the long-ribbon short-path samples if anyone knows of any... I really think they might have "more" of that old flat, distant, feel that I'm hearing in my head...
