USA had it, now it's our turn.
Assuming it hasn't been posted, I just found out today that Channel 69 (854-862) is going to be kaput by 2012.
Basically, Ofcom want everyone to up and move to channel 38 (604-612).
BUT you can't move yet, 38 is supposedly still in use by radio astronomy but will be clear by some point. Oh, but you can move now if you have/get a license for it.

Channel 70 (863-865) is still fine. Note that technically channel 70 doesn't exist, and if it did, you could only use half because some of it is reserved for other stuff.

Apparently if you have to replace your kit, about half the replacement cost is redeemable under certain conditions.

Good news for our church, our kit is the cheapest of cheap and runs on the VHF band.

* By "guitar mince" I mean wireless packs for guitars/bass/electric violins.
