Anybody using Logic pro on G4 Powerbook?

I just read on apple.com about the required specs and they say dual G4 or G5 is recommended!

How well does Logic perform on Powerbooks? (Please give me details as to how many tracks, how many plugins/VSTis etc.)

The nodes concept works only for logic's own plug's? Why is that

The nodes concept works only for logic's own plug's? Why is that so? Also, what if we use the node machine to run everything else and use the host for 3rd party VST plug-ins?
