Just wanted to check for any tips on hardware reverbs with great performance and bargain 2nd hand prices. I need a couple more.. For example I got a Sony R7 for about $150 and it sounds amazing, especially the plates. I know some people still use Quadraverbs (which you can get for next to nothing) and some of the cheap Lexicons do sound great aswell. Any other units I have missed out on ? One that sounds a lot more than it retails for. Thanx.

I think any old spring reverb will sound way cooler than some el cheapo digital. Masteroom made some cool stuff. AKG made the Bx 10 and 20. kind of pricey though. I guess alot depends on the vibe you are going for. digital might be right up your alley. If i were to buy a cheaper digital unit ,I would opt for a multi fx processor like yamaha spx 90, ensoniq dp4. you get verb and all the other crap too. ebay $150-$250.
