does anyone here have experience with any of the line 6 studio modelers - echo pro, filter pro, mod pro?

any pro tools users have echo farm? does anyone know if the plugin has all/more features than the hardware unit?

I own an Echopro and a Filterpro. I love them.
The Echopro is amazing I don't even care if it reproduces the vintage stuff dead on. What it produces sounds great and thats what counts.
The Filterpro is cool too but the effects are not something you're going to use all the time.
They're both basically the stomp boxes but in a rack with XLR ins and outs and comprehensive and flexible MIDI control.
Did you have any specific questions about them?

The distortion modeler is, I am told, the jewel in the crown of the stomp box modeler range.

I have heard no reports on the studio range of stuff.

I had a noodle around on Echo Farm TDM plug in at the Amsterdam AES, it seemed excellent! I Cant recall the 'feature set' however...

I am seriously interested in getting a Line 6 Vetta series combo or head for the studio - I tried the combo in NYC's Sam Ash last Dec and the Hiwatt modeling was AWSOME...I am a little dismayed to not have heard many reports about it as a product.. but then I don't hang much on GTR forums, perhaps I should go look on some.... GOOD IDEA! Thanks!

thanks for all the replies...

a couple things I was wondering about - do any of you know if the echo farm = echo pro. do you get all the same functionality with the plug in vs. the hardware unit?

also, does anyone know if they sound different? does the hardware unit sound better/worse than the plugin?

thanks,
