Hi

K, Silly question, hope you don't mind. I need a box (rack gear) that can do simple pitch shift fairly extreme...essentially the chipmunks sound. I'm in a weird pinch doing a school project on RADAR not using any pro-fools trickery, and we dont have the box so I am hoping to just rent a common unit for the week. So far I'm looking at the TC helicon Voiceone. will this work? (I don't need any pitch correction mumbo jumbo, just to be able to throw it up a few octaves.

Cheers

You have a RADAR? Cool! I loved working with that system...
Are you wanting a pitch shifter to hire? Any of the TC stuff is good quality and should do ya fine. If that's not available, heck, an old Yamaha SPX90II will do the trick, and I have seen those in pawnshops, music stores, and on e-Bay to BUY for less than $100.00 with a decent battery (back-up) in them....
