ciao alècio,

maybe because plugins aren't something to discuss so much....

as you can see i've put some honey for the bears, but indeed is hard also to have a feedback on the gifts you can do..... :D

maybe the moderator should stimulate discussion a little more, uploading interesting links or answering to the posters who have problems....after a while the forum starts flying!

personally as a creamware user i visit very often the planetz.com (have a tour there) forums, mainly related to pulsar card, and it surpasses by far also the official creamware forum, as it is greatly organized and with the most friendly and creative community you can find. there is also a music upload section and you can see there musical collaborations between people that got friends there! and even if most of them(us) make a living of music, we also make music for our pleasure, develope incredible modular patches for all the users for free, and this only because of a great forum that is a very friendly place...

of course this one could grow too, with some more joy and a bit less of capitalism....

Hello Alécio!

I think he means that the free exchange of plug- in ideas not giving or trading freeplug-ins

Their are sites you can get anything you want but at RO, we also support manufactures, since they support us with banners!

It cost about 20 thousand US$ a year to keep this site open and moderators do not get paid.

We had to open the store since donations this time of the year are lower due to the holiday season. The store is awesome no?

Face it, if you really wanted to see capitalism at work, the ultimate form of this is would be to bid on an answer and the highest bidder gets to see it pirvately.

Ubid on answer to your question...can I have 1 dollar, how about 2..LOL

RO will never do that.

I will say this, without members support and moderators volenteering time, this site cannot survive.

I tell you what, I can hang here and pump this place up some. I do not have all the answers in plug ins but I bet I can find someoine that does have answers...since we all are always learning.

Actually, the main motivation is to not hear shitty sound anymore. The more we can teach, the better the sound. That is what we are here for really. We want musicians and engineers to stretch past the boundarys of sublime quality to top quality pushing the envelope farther than it has ever been achieved in direct communication through quality.

We want you to be your very best. It takes time and an open mind.

I consider ourselves more socialistic that capitalistic, really, within this forum.

This is a community, not politics.

eheheh, very well, i like this! i am just back from a contribution in the guitar forum and i see this little plugin forum getting populated!

seriously, i like these forums, i have the same interests and quality goals in mind as most of the users here. but of course i have much more to learn than teach, but i hope to contribute as i can...

it's 3:16 am now & here....i'll be back after some sleeping. ciao.

Sigh. I have been nursing this forum along for almost a year. I have posted more than probably everyone else combined, started topics, revived topics, let threads veer wildly off topic, everything I could think of. Folks like Bill Roberts, E-cue, and DoubleHelix (where are you buddy?) have posted here and I have seen it go up and down. Frankly, I have always been expecting Chris to come along and shut it down due to poor response.
I don't get paid for this, as Bill pointed out (look up above and note how alarmed people become when talk of paying for R.O. comes up... if I was getting paid for this I would spend time researching stuff, etc). I don't flame people and I promote a positive atmosphere here. I also useplug-insin the real world and think that a forum here could have some effect on the progress ofplug-ins If people post here manufacturers will probably start reading and reacting to it.
I am not the guru ofplug-ins and have never pretended to be. I am a moderator. Moderators help the people in a community help each other. Start posting and help each other. Tell your friends. Become a moderator- there is room for someone else here.
And that's what I have to say about it. Doc
