Hi, haven't been here in ages. Everythings changed!

I am putting together a budget laptop DAW with a vx pocket card for location recordings.

Does anyone have any opinions on the quality of A to D conversion on the vx pocket versus that of the M audio Flying cow & flying calf A/D converters (they are budget boxes)?

Once this system can justify me spending more money on it I will get a mini me for quality location recording.

Opinionswould be greatly recieved.
