powering and tuning my Yamaha ns10's... looking for good price to "clarity" ratio... thanks in advance!

The very LAST thing you want to do to NS10's is EQ them in any way if you are using them as studio monitors. You completely defeat the 'purpose' of the NS10 which is to tell you that you have it all wrong when you throw up a mix on them. If you EQ them to 'sweeten' the sound, then you might as well get yourself a nice set of stereo speakers. NS10's are NOT nice. Nor should they be.

Power with an efficient and fairly robust power amp.

thanks, i was kinda wondering about the whole EQing thing myself and had been going back and forth between yes and no... my only draw towards yes was to tune them to the room but i couldnt completely convince myself that it was a good idea... having used them on several occasions i know the "power" of the 10's and cant wait to get mine powered up.
