anyone using tube preamps for pop mixes out there? Any tips

I am a few days away from receiving my first tube preamp. It's a TL Audio 5052. I wouldn't mind some crazy or not crazy ideas to use it with.

Maybe when I get it I'll record a wicked "ass" solo and you can hear it burn from left to right, you might even smell it!!
