I could use a little help with this... I'm about to buy Cubase SL and I want to get the best motherboard for Audio... My CPU is a AMD 1600XP... I've heard that there been some problems with VIA-chipset for example...

Earlier Via chipsets were very problematic. The latest ones have been good so far but I think I read somewhere they were still having some PCI bus issues, I need to investigate that a little more.
A lot of the people are getting the Nforce chipset boards and having great results! I believe the Asus A7N8X is the one to get.
