Motley Crue's Theatre of Pain, specifically the song 'Louder Than Hell'.
The kick drum sounds a lot like a room (overhead) toms mixed with the kick. Unless he's hitting both at once, which seems pretty difficult based on the pattern I'm hearing.
Anyhow,
does anyone know offhand of a sample library that might have some similar one-shots? I can mix my own, but I will fall into the trap of trying to get them to sound exactly like those do, which is impossible to separate from the mix, so its futile.
